Queensland’s Opposition Leader has exclusively told Sky News he is backing a proposal to build a European-style beach club on the Gold Coast.  
The club would boast a 600 person capacity and would cost $1.5 million – which Mr Gennari said he was prepared to pay for provided he is granted a three year trial minimum.
